Relatedly, I’m still dead set on having the next installment be an animatic, but I don’t have as much time as I used to. I’m just thinking aloud, but would anyone be potentially interested in lending their time and talents? If I had help with BGs (painted) and “ink & paint” (Flash), I could see this getting done a lot sooner! Man, I’d sure love to be able to freeze time and do it all myself though.
In any case, I really am sorry it’s been so long!

well, I started this a long time ago, but I doubt I’ll finish it. I made a post some time ago about Annabel’s pet venus fly trap, so I wanted to draw Ruth with her pet too. She has a cat adopted from the local animal shelter. He came with his name, “Little,” which she would have never chosen for a pet— but it’s grown on her.
P.S. I’m not dead! Just busy.

THE WINNERS!!!
I held this fun little contest (to design outfits for Ruth and Annabel to be used in arc 3 of the comic) without realizing how many amazing and creative and well-drawn entries I was in for. I would seriously wear any one of the awesome ensembles that you guys came up with, and it was so hard to choose!! Lucky, I had two friends to help me out. We decided to pick the winning entries from two different people because they were all so great!

had a little free time so I did these pen sketches of Ruth and Annabel in some of the outfits that people designed for them!! I love all the entries for the outfit design contest so much.. they’re so much fun to draw too..
